DISTANCE SALES AGREEMENT

2. SUBJECT

This agreement regulates the rights and obligations of the parties regarding the sale and delivery of handmade products ordered by the BUYER from the SELLER's website www.woodmess.com.

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION

The type, quantity, brand/model, sales price, payment method, and basic characteristics of the ordered product(s) are specified in the order form and order confirmation email.

4. GENERAL TERMS

  • All products are handmade and custom-made to order
  • Product prices are as listed on the website and are based on advance payment
  • Production begins after payment is received and confirmed
  • Each item is uniquely crafted, and slight variations in color, texture, and finish are natural characteristics of handmade products
  • Product shipment will be made after payment reaches the SELLER's account

5. PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY TIME

  • Production time: Specified in item details
  • Delivery time: Standard delivery will be shipped with UPS, FEDEX, TNT or DHL, usually takes 3-7 business days. (varies by destination country)
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance and international shipping conditions

6. PAYMENT

  • We accept the following payment methods through our secure payment provider iyzico:
    • Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
    • Debit Cards issued by Turkish banks
    • Bank Cards
    • Installment payments with credit cards

All payments are processed securely through iyzico payment gateway. Your payment information is encrypted and protected during the transaction process.

  • All prices are in USD
  • The BUYER is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country

7. NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES POLICY

IMPORTANT: Due to the custom-made and handmade nature of our products, we DO NOT accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations.

  • All items are made to order specifically for each customer
  • Each piece is unique and cannot be resold
  • By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this no-return policy

EXCEPTIONS:
We will only accept returns or offer replacements in the following cases:

  • The product arrives damaged during shipping (photographic evidence must be provided within 48 hours of delivery)
  • The product received is significantly different from what was ordered (wrong item sent)
  • Manufacturing defect that affects the functionality of the product

8. DAMAGE CLAIMS

If your item arrives damaged:

  • Contact us at contact@woodmess.com within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photographs of the damaged item and packaging
  • Do not discard the packaging
  • We will assess the claim and offer a replacement or refund if the damage occurred during shipping

9. ORDER CANCELLATION

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun
  • Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of order placement
  • If production has already started, cancellation will not be possible

10. SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS

  • International shipping rates are calculated at checkout
  • The BUYER is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and fees
  • Delivery times may be affected by customs clearance procedures
  • The SELLER is not responsible for delays caused by customs or international shipping carriers

11. PRODUCT CARE

Care instructions specific to each product will be included with your order. Please follow these instructions to maintain the quality and longevity of your handmade item.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All designs, photographs, and content on www.woodmess.com are the intellectual property of the SELLER and may not be reproduced without written permission.

13. PRIVACY

Your personal information will be used solely for order processing and shipping purposes and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to complete your order.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The SELLER's liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. The SELLER is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

15. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey.

16. ACCEPTANCE

By placing an order on www.woodmess.com, the BUYER acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions of this Distance Sales Agreement, including the NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES policy for custom-made handmade products.
